SABA Community Coalition
Shawnee Asset Building Alliance (SABA) is a group of concerned individuals who get together twice a month to address substance use and abuse in the Shawnee community. Underage drinking is a major problem our community must address.
Anyone who shares this concern or others is welcome at our meetings. We meet the
second Friday of every month at noon at the Gateway to Prevention Meeting Room. Lunch is free to first time visitors! Bring a friend and come along.
Our meeting room is located at 1414 North Kennedy (Corner of Kennedy and Independence in the Doctors Building) in Suite 107 on the side of the building that faces the airport.

Helpful links for Parents and Caregivers
Parents
Parents, the Area Prevention Resource Center at Gateway has information specifically for you on how to keep your children drug-free and how to tell if your child may be experimenting or using alcohol and other drugs regularly. The links above are very helpful for parents who want to know more about how alcohol and other drugs can affect their children and how to prevent it.
Please provide your support! We have a pledge that parents in Shawnee can sign that they will NOT serve alcohol to other people's children (under the age of 21) in their homes.
